Today, August 25th, the price of gold is once again on the rise in the national capital's bullion market. Gold has reached its highest price in five months. How much did gold become expensive?

According to the All India Sarafa Association, the price of 24-carat gold with 99.9 percent purity has risen by ₹900 to ₹164,400 per 10 grams. On Friday, the same price was ₹163,500 per 10 grams. Gold has become this expensive today, the first time since March 9th. In March, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹164,300 per 10 grams.  

How much did silver become expensive?

According to the Sarafa Sangh, silver also saw gains for the third consecutive session. Looking at the silver rate, it has increased by ₹3,500 today. Today is the most expensive silver price in the last four months. On August 25th, the price of silver was ₹2,53,500 per kilogram. Before this, silver was at ₹2,50,000 per kilogram. The last time silver was at ₹2,53,000 per kilogram was on April 17th. After April, silver has once again seen a massive jump in August.  

How is the situation in the international market?

Gold prices rose in domestic markets, while silver prices also edged higher on a weak dollar and strong safe-haven demand due to rising tensions between the US and Iran. In the international market, gold rose $42.45, or 1 percent, to $4,646.54 an ounce. Silver , meanwhile, stood at $69 an ounce.
