Redmi K100

If you're one of those people who constantly fears your phone's battery running out every time you leave the house, and constantly have to carry a power bank in your bag, then this problem is about to end forever. Xiaomi's Redmi has launched its new, explosive smartphone, the Redmi K100, in the Chinese market. The powerhouse of this new phone is its 10,000mAh battery.

That's nearly double the capacity of today's flagship smartphones. Typically, phones with such large batteries are thick and heavy. However, the company has demonstrated remarkable engineering and integrated it into a sleek design. Not only the battery, but this phone also features Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and a stunning AMOLED screen with a 165Hz refresh rate. Find out what other features this amazing phone has.

Redmi K100's 10000mAh battery

The Redmi K100's biggest highlight is its 10,000mAh battery. This large battery, compared to a typical smartphone, can be useful for those who are actively using their phones throughout the day. This can also reduce the hassle of constantly searching for a charger while watching online videos, browsing social media, navigating, and gaming. The phone also supports 100W fast charging, which should make charging such a large battery easier.

Additionally, the phone features 27W reverse wired charging. This allows it to charge other compatible devices if needed. This means the phone can be used not only for its own battery but also for other devices.

165Hz display and powerful processor

The Redmi K100 features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution. Its 165Hz refresh rate helps make screen movements smoother. This can be seen when scrolling, animations, and playing supported games. According to the company, the display's peak brightness is up to 3500 nits, making it easy to view content even in bright light.

For performance, it features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. It also comes with Redmi's D2 display chip, which is used to improve graphics and frame rates during gaming. The company has reported 165fps support in over 40 games. Additionally, over 100 games support technologies like frame interpolation. The phone comes with 12GB and 16GB RAM options, while storage options start at 256GB and go up to 512GB.

Stunning design with a 50MP camera

Speaking of the camera, the Redmi K100 features a dual rear camera setup. Its main camera is 50MP and supports OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). This feature helps reduce the impact of slight hand movements when taking photos.

It also has an 8MP ultrawide camera. For selfies and video calling, the phone has a 20MP front camera. For audio, it has stereo speakers tuned by Bose. Design-wise, the phone is available in Black, Snow Rock White, and Firefly Green color options.

Redmi K100 Price

In China, the base variant is priced at 3,499 Chinese Yuan, which is approximately ₹50,000. The top variant with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is priced at 4,499 Chinese Yuan, which is approximately ₹64,000. The company has not yet officially announced its launch in India.
