Lallan Singh said, "In the village where this video is from, a powerful RJD leader lives. He threatens the poor and does not allow them to go to the polling booth. I have said that if these leaders threaten the poor, then the villagers should surround them and lock them up. If they want to go to vote, then make them vote at the polling booth and force them to stay home again. No one can get votes by threatening the poor."

'Shouldn't we protect our voters?'

JDU leader Lalan Singh said, "The poor are Nitish Kumar's voters. They are our voters. So, will we not protect our voters? Will we not encourage our voters? If you try to scare or threaten our voters, we are also a political party... will we encourage them not to be afraid, but to vote? The Election Commission also does this."

The Union Minister said, "We want to ask the RJD a question... the way in the funeral procession of Dularchand Yadav, some caste-specific abuses were used, and both the RJD candidates were sitting in that vehicle, in their presence some communities were targeted and abused, the video of which is viral all over Bihar, why is the RJD not reacting to this? Does the RJD want to bring back the same rule that existed during the time of their father? There is a rule of law under Nitish Kumar's rule. We all respect the law."
