Police have recovered a red Ford EcoSport car (number DL10CK0458) from Faridabad, which had previously been on alert. Delhi Police alert and recovery in Faridabad:
Delhi Police issued an alert regarding this red EcoSport car on Tuesday. Police suspected that the car was present with the suspects on the day of the bombing. Following this, five police teams searched for it in Delhi and surrounding areas. Faridabad police took action and rounded up the car parked near Khandawali village. Now, the vehicle has been seized and preparations are underway for a forensic examination.

The car was registered in the names of two owners.
Investigation has revealed that the Ford EcoSport was previously registered in the name of Pankaj Gupta, while it is currently registered in the name of Umar Nabi. Police are now investigating how the car passed from Pankaj to Umar and whether any other individuals or networks used it in between.

According to police records, the vehicle was last
serviced in Srinagar in 2024. This information has raised concerns among investigating agencies, as it suggests that the vehicle may have been brought from Kashmir to Delhi through a network.

The investigation also revealed that this red EcoSport was seen alongside an i20 near the Red Fort Metro station on the day of the bombings. CCTV footage captured the movements of both vehicles, leading to the vehicle being included in the suspect
list. The Delhi Police had already alerted the Uttar Pradesh and Haryana police.
