Weather Update:  While the mercury is rising in the plains, on the other hand, the cold wave continues in the mountains. The heat has started increasing in Delhi. Many areas of Uttarakhand-Himachal are still covered with snow.

The heat is also being seen in Delhi NCR. At the same time, the temperature is also increasing continuously in Punjab-Haryana and Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has currently predicted rain in Bihar-Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh. 

Heat wave intensifies in Delhi 

The heat has started increasing in Delhi NCR. On Tuesday, March 18, 2023, the minimum temperature of the capital has increased. It was recorded at 14.6 degrees Celsius, which is 1.9 degrees Celsius more than normal. The Meteorological Department has predicted strong winds in Delhi NCR in the coming days. At the same time, the maximum temperature is expected to reach 32 degrees Celsius, although the wind may provide some relief from the heat. 

How will the weather be in UP-Bihar? 

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Uttar Pradesh is going to remain dry till March 20, 2025. There is a possibility of rain with strong winds till March 21-22, 2025. The weather in Bihar is going to change. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain up to 70% in the state by March 21-22, 2025. During this time, there is also a possibility of hail in many areas.  

Winter continues in the mountains

There is a slight chill in the weather in Uttarakhand. There is still some snowfall in Badrinath Dham. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in Pithoragarh, Chamoli and Uttarkashi districts of the state. In Himachal Pradesh, there may be light snowfall in many high altitude areas including Chamba, Kinnaur and Lahaul Spiti today. There is also a possibility of rain here. Snowfall is still continuing in many areas of Jammu and Kashmir, due to which cold winds are blowing here and a significant drop in temperature has been recorded.
