Vaibhav Suryavanshi's bat roared in the ODI against Afghanistan, but he missed out on making history.

India A vs Afghanistan A: Vaibhav Suryavanshi played a stormy inning with a strike rate of 200 in the match against Afghanistan A, but missed out on creating history.

 

 

 

Vaibhav Suryavanshi missed out on making history in the match against Afghanistan A. India A and Afghanistan A clashed in the tri-series on Thursday, where Vaibhav Suryavanshi played a blistering innings with a strike rate of 200. He scored 44 runs in 22 matches and missed out on the record for the fastest fifty in List A cricket.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi had a chance to score his fastest fifty in List A cricket, but he lost his wicket six runs short. Vaibhav's fastest individual fifty in List A cricket came off 25 balls, which he scored for Bihar in last year's Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi was a flop in the first match of the tri-series, scoring just 14 runs. Although he didn't score a half-century or a century this time, he, along with Prabhsimran Singh, provided a solid start for Team India. Vaibhav and Prabhsimran shared a 74-run opening partnership, scoring 74 runs in just seven overs. Vaibhav hit nine fours and no sixes in his 44-run innings.

In the ODI match against Afghanistan A, Vaibhav Suryavanshi's opening partner, Prabhsimran Singh, overcame his poor performance in the previous match and scored a strong fifty. He reached his fifty in 39 balls.

Under Tilak Varma's captaincy, the Indian team defeated Sri Lanka A by 8 runs in their first match of the tri-series. India, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka will play four matches each before the final on June 21st. The final will be played on June 21st between the top two teams in the points table.
