Luv Shukla said angrily that we were taking milk thinking it to be a Hindu, but this person turned out to be Mohammad Sharif. He hurt our religious sentiments and corrupted our religion. Demand for action under NSA arose

They have demanded action against the accused under the National Security Act (NSA). After the case came to light, workers of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha reached Gomtinagar police station and demanded strict action against the accused. Mahasabha's national spokesperson Shishir Chaturvedi called it a well-planned conspiracy of 'spit jihad'. He said that this is not just about one family. Mohammad Sharif used to supply milk to dozens of houses in the area.

Lucknow Police took this matter seriously and started action immediately. DCP West Zone Shashank Singh said that a complaint has been lodged in Gomtinagar police station.
