UP Board Result 2025: New Technology Ensures Marksheets Are Durable Even if Wet

The eagerly awaited UP Board 10th and 12th results for 2025 are just around the corner, with the release expected in late April. Preparations for the result declaration by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) are nearing completion. Students can access their results on the official website, upmsp.edu.in, and for the first time, the UP Board will release scorecards on DigiLocker. In addition, the new marksheets will feature QR codes for added convenience and authenticity. Here’s how UPMSP is enhancing the result process this year:

How UP Board Is Improving the Marksheets

This year, the UP Board has taken a significant step to ensure the durability of the marksheets. The marksheets issued by the board will be made from special non-tearable A4-sized paper, which can withstand water damage. Even if the marksheet gets wet, it won't tear or get damaged, and termites won’t be able to harm it. Additionally, micro letters will be embedded in the background of the marksheet, adding a layer of security and authenticity.

This move ensures that the marksheet is not only durable but also highly secure from potential tampering.

How to Download Your UP Board Result from DigiLocker

Once the results are declared, students will be able to access their marksheets through DigiLocker, a secure platform. Here's how you can download your marksheet:

  • For 10th Students: You’ll need to enter your roll number and date of birth to access and download your marksheet.
  • For 12th Students: You will need to enter your roll number and mother’s name to retrieve your marksheet. Note: Without entering your mother’s name, you won’t be able to download the marksheet.

When Will UP Board 10th and 12th Results Be Released?

The UP Board 10th and 12th results for 2025 are likely to be declared on April 25 or 26, 2025, although the exact date will be announced shortly. Last year, the results were released on April 20, and the topper lists for both 10th and 12th grades will also be made available at the same time.
