UP BJP President Pankaj Chaudhary met with party National President Nitin Naveen on Saturday (April 18). According to reports, the two discussed the UP BJP team and political issues in the state. Preliminary discussions were also held on potential names for the UP government's cabinet expansion. Pankaj Chaudhary had previously met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday (April 17).
Pankaj Chaudhary also held important meetings with state general secretary Dharampal Singh and Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on Friday. Later that evening, he met with PM Modi. These meetings are considered extremely important.
Discussion on cabinet expansion intensifies in view of assembly elections
It's worth noting that political activity has intensified in Uttar Pradesh in preparation for the upcoming assembly elections. Discussions are underway regarding cabinet expansion in the state government. New faces may be included in the cabinet in view of the elections.
