In Banda, a young man committed suicide after killing his wife. Meanwhile, a four-month-old child died of starvation. This was revealed in the post-mortem report.

Postmortem of the bodies of the husband, wife and son, found dead in Azad Nagar locality of Atarra Kotwali area of Banda, was conducted at Rani Durgavati Medical College. In the postmortem report, husband Jitendra died due to hanging, wife Gaura died due to injuries in the neck and head, while the child died of starvation was confirmed. The bodies of Jitendra (23), wife Gaura (20) and four-month-old son Babu, who were living on rent in Azad Nagar locality of Atarra Kotwali area, were found lying in the room on Saturday afternoon. Jitendra, who committed suicide, had sent a suicide note on his brother's mobile, in which he had said that he committed the crime because he was fed up with the torture of his in-laws.

In this case, both the parties had accused each other. The postmortem of all the three bodies was conducted on the second day, Sunday. The postmortem report has confirmed that the innocent girl died of starvation. This has proved that the husband Jitendra first killed his wife by attacking her neck and head and then hanged himself.

The four-month-old child died of starvation
on the second day of the incident, i.e. on Friday. Since the landlord Ramkumar Prajapati was not at home at the time of the incident, no one was aware of the incident.

SP Palash Bansal said that the postmortem report confirmed that Jitendra died due to hanging, Gaura died due to neck and head injuries and the child died due to starvation. All the three bodies have been handed over to the relatives.

He slit his wife's throat and then committed suicide.
In Banda district of Uttar Pradesh, a young man, upset with domestic strife, killed his wife. The body of his four-month-old son was also found in the room. The accused youth committed suicide after committing the crime. The bodies of all were lying inside the room for two days. On Saturday afternoon when a foul smell started coming, the landlord informed the police. The police reached the spot and broke the door and took out the bodies of all the three. According to information, Jitendra (23), a resident of Ramnagar under Kalinjar police station area, worked in Ahmedabad. He lived in a rented room in Atarra's Azad Nagar with his wife Gaura (20) and four-month-old son Babu.
