How to reach Lakshadweep
There are two ways to reach Lakshadweep. First is air route and second is water route.

Flight to lakshadweep
If you want to go to Lakshadweep by air, then the nearest airport is Agatti Airport in Kochi. This is the only airport to go to Lakshadweep. You can book a flight to Agatti from any corner of the country. From the airport you can visit other islands by boat or helicopter.

Lakshadweep boat trip
MV Karavati, Arabian Sea, Lakshadweep Sea, Lagoon Corals, Amindrivi and MV Minicoy ships operate from Kochi to Lakshadweep. It reaches Lakshadweep in 14-18 hours.

Apart from this, you can also go by Lakshadweep Fairy. Reach Ernakulam from Bengaluru by bus. From here, take a taxi to Willington Island and then take a ferry to Karavatti, the capital of Lakshadweep.

Lakshadweep flight ticket
Many airline companies are providing direct flight facilities to Lakshadweep. Delhi to Lakshadweep flight fare starts from just Rs 10,000 (one way). There is a 90 minute flight from Kochi to Agatti, the fare for which is Rs 5500 to Rs 6500. There is a flight from Bengaluru via Kochi, the one-way fare of which is approximately seven and a half thousand rupees.

Ship fare to Lakshadweep is around Rs 4 to 8 thousand. If you book a five-day Lakshadweep tour package by ship, the fare for the Mumbai to Lakshadweep via Kochi trip can range from Rs 39 thousand to Rs 1.13 lakh per person.
