15 August is considered to be the proudest day in the history of India. On this day the country was freed from the slavery of the British rule. The country and the countrymen who were bound in the chains of slavery of the British for centuries have suffered a lot. Due to being a slave in their own country, and being deprived of their rights, anger arose among the countrymen and they lit the flame of the freedom struggle.

An attempt was made to crush the voices raised for the demand for independence, in which thousands and lakhs of revolutionaries shed blood. Many freedom fighters became martyrs. However, in the end, the British had to leave India and the power of the country came into the hands of the countrymen.

To celebrate this victory as a world, Independence Day is celebrated every year on 15th August. On this occasion, people remember the brave sons who fought for freedom, along with the hoisting of the flag, the salute is given to the freedom fighters.
