Golden Temple

According to an estimate, around 1 lakh people eat langar in the Golden Temple every day. This number doubles on festivals and weekends. One is not allowed to enter the premises without a turban or any cloth or cap on the head.

Jallianwala Bagh
The historic Jallianwala Bagh is a public garden located near the famous Golden Temple of Amritsar. This is Jallianwala Bagh 6. Spread over 5 acres of land India has witnessed one of the tragic events of the year. During the British rule, orders of General Dyer were given indiscriminate firing on thousands of children, elderly, youth, and women who had gathered at this place for the peaceful celebration of Baisakhi. Thousands of innocent people were killed in this incident. This massacre place was inaugurated by Dr. Rajendra Prasad on 13 April 1961.

Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum
Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum was established by the Government of Punjab in 1999 AD as a tribute to the brave soldiers. Govindgarh Fort

General Dyer went to Jallianwala Bagh from this fort and played a bloody game on 13 April 1919. It is said that there is an underground tunnel near the Khooni Darwaza of this fort, which leads to Lahore.

Durgiana Temple
Durgiana Temple is a major Hindu temple located in Amritsar in the state of Punjab. This Durgiana temple is also known as Lakshmi Narayan Temple, Durga Temple, and Shitala Temple. Temples of Mata Sita and Hanuman ji can also be seen in this temple complex. Along with the statue of Goddess Lakshmi, statues of many other gods and goddesses can be seen here. The history of this Durgiana temple is said to be 16th century old. Due to the silver doors installed here, this temple is also known as Silver Temple.
