Therefore, it is prohibited to visit this temple after 6 pm. Therefore during this time the priests also leave the temple alone. During this time the doors of the temple are closed after the evening aarti.
History of the temple
This temple was established in the year 1348. This temple is also famous by the name of Durga Mata. Apart from this, people call Mother Goddess by three names, Junglewali, Maa Dakini, and MaaChhinnamastika. Here goats are sacrificed to the goddess. This has been done here for many years. This is also considered an important part of the puja. Apart from this, offering laddus to the Mother Goddess is also considered auspicious here.
