Indian cricket team's star batsman Tilak Varma 's impressive form continues. Tilak, who captained India A to victory in the recent tri-series in Sri Lanka, led his team to the title. Upon returning to India, he showcased his batting prowess in the Telangana T20 League. On his debut match, Tilak took the bowlers to task, scoring a brilliant century. After winning the tri-series in Sri Lanka, Varma opted for a break and headed straight to the Telangana T20 League. Playing for Medak Falcons, he displayed explosive batting in his very first match. Chasing a massive target, Tilak gave the opposition bowlers no chance and scored a brilliant century.

Medak Falcons were set a mammoth target of 259 runs to win. In such a difficult match, Tilak Varma played a memorable innings of 136 not out off 56 balls. He hit 14 fours and 7 sixes in this stormy innings. This innings laid the foundation for the team's victory against the Warangal Warriors. Besides Tilak, wicketkeeper-batsman Vikram Naik Guguloth scored 27 runs, while Shrunjith Reddy contributed 25, Ravi Teja 20, and Sai Varun Yerram 19. Thanks to these innings, Medak Falcons registered a thrilling 3-wicket victory with 2 balls to spare.

Earlier, Warangal Warriors, batting first, posted a mammoth total of 258 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Captain Aman Rao stole the show for Warangal, scoring an explosive 142 runs off just 48 balls, hitting 12 fours and 13 sixes.

In addition to Aman Rao, Harshit Chaudhary scored 35 runs off 23 balls, while Murugan Abhishek played a quick innings of 32 runs off 15 balls. With the help of these batsmen, Warangal Warriors managed to post a big score. However, the bowlers were unable to defend this total. For Warangal, Shaunak Kulkarni and Asif Mansoori took two wickets each, while Anirudh Srivastava and Murugan Abhishek took one wicket each.
