Tight security from ground to sky for PM Modi's visit, security forces will keep an eye on every inch

A dry run will be conducted by the security forces to make the Kashmir visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi a success. Security will be tight during the visit and surveillance will be done from ground to sky. The Prime Minister will stay in Kathua and Reasi and Udhampur districts will be declared no-fly zones. This visit is happening after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, so unprecedented security arrangements have been made.

Train to Kashmir: To make the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is coming to Kashmir to flag off the train and inaugurate major development projects, a success, the SPG and security forces will conduct a dry run (final rehearsal) on Thursday morning.

During the dry run starting around 10 am on Thursday, the officers in charge of security in the convoy will reach every place on time where the PM has to go on June 6.

During this, every kind of challenge related to the visit will be closely assessed and its solution will be sought. After reaching Udhampur Airforce Station from Delhi, PM will reach all the places by helicopter. But only after this the teams will rehearse for the road journey.

According to a high-ranking official, on Wednesday, officials of SPG, Jammu Kashmir Police, security forces, intelligence agencies closely looked at every aspect of the security of PM's visit. Keeping in mind the challenges of the visit, a contingency plan has also been made to face them.

Unprecedented security arrangements will be made during the visit of the Prime Minister. During this, security challenges from land and sky have also been kept in mind. Armed forces, security forces and Jammu Kashmir Police in the state have been on high alert for the last several days to face any kind of challenge regarding the Prime Minister's visit.

The Prime Minister will be in Katra from 10 am to 3.30 pm on Friday. This is the first visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Jammu Kashmir after taking revenge from Pakistan for the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir. In such a situation, unprecedented security arrangements have been made for his visit. During the presence of the Prime Minister, Udhampur district along with Reasi district will also remain a no-fly zone. During the visit, Udhampur District Hospital along with Command Hospital will also remain on alert.
