He said that Operation Sindoor has become so deeply ingrained in our lives that it will remain with us as long as we live. He added that Operation Sindoor was named by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and was dedicated to women. He stated that this time India is fully prepared. In Operation Sindoor 2.0, India will not exercise the restraint it did in Operation Sindoor 1.0. During the event, three service officers who performed exceptionally well in Operation Sindoor were also honored.
The Army Chief stated that the Defense Minister, in recognition of the success of Operation Sindoor, credited the Indian Army as well as the general public. He added that when any woman in this country applies vermillion to her forehead, she remembers the Indian Army soldiers who played a crucial role in Operation Sindoor. This time, Operation Sindoor was conducted against terrorism. The entire operation was named the same, unlike previous operations that had different names.
9 terrorist hideouts destroyed
The Army Chief said that when India launched Operation Sindoor after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the entire world rallied behind India. The terrorist attack was strongly condemned worldwide. He stated that India struck nine targets in Pakistan. Seven of these were struck by the Army and two by the Air Force. This time, we will take further action, and we will take such action that Pakistan may have to reconsider whether it wants to remain in history or not.
