Bundi Shocking News: In Rajasthan, a Bhopa bit a woman's stomach in the name of removing a stone. When the woman's condition worsened, she was admitted to the hospital, where doctors said that the stone was still present.

Bundi Shocking News: A woman's life was in danger due to superstition in Rajasthan's Bundi district. Reshma, a resident of Sumerganj Mandi area, complained of stone, but instead of getting her treated by doctors, her family decided to take her to a Bhopa. What happened after this is shocking. In the name of treatment, the Bhopa put his mouth on the woman's stomach and bit it with his teeth and claimed that he had taken out the stone. The woman's husband Bunty told that a few days ago, Reshma had severe stomach pain.
12 mm stone in gallbladder
After examination, it was found that there was a 12 mm stone in his gallbladder. The doctors had advised surgery, but due to fear and expenses, the family could not afford the treatment. After this, on the advice of an acquaintance, they went to a Bhopa in Pur village of Bhilwara district. There, first a slip was made, then they were made to wait for about 1 hour. The Bhopa put his mouth on his stomach and pretended to treat him and suddenly bit him with his teeth.
Even though the pain was unbearable, Bhopa did not refuse
Bhopa showed the woman some pieces of stone and claimed that this was the stone which had come out now. But after a few hours, the woman's condition started deteriorating again. When the pain became unbearable, the family took her to Bundi District Hospital. There, Dr. Ratna Jain examined her and told that the stone was still present in the gallbladder and there were teeth marks on the stomach.
Risk of infection from a cut wound
Dr. Jain said that the woman is not currently infected, but there is a risk of infection from the cut wound. If the treatment was not done on time, it could have proved fatal. The woman is being given necessary medical treatment and now her condition is normal. This incident once again proves that superstition still remains a serious threat in rural areas, where superstition is given priority over medical treatment.
