In a chilling development following the brutal terrorist attack in Kashmir’s Pahalgam, the first image of the attacker has surfaced—showing a militant sprinting away with an AK-47 rifle in hand. Though the grainy image captures him from behind and his identity remains concealed, the photo marks a breakthrough in the ongoing investigation.
The attack unfolded on Tuesday afternoon at Baisaran, a popular tourist destination dubbed ‘Mini Switzerland,’ claiming the lives of 28 civilians. In response, a large-scale search and anti-terrorism operation has been launched across Srinagar and surrounding areas. Indian Army’s ALH Dhruv helicopters have been deployed to aid in the search.
Security forces and forensic teams are combing through the Baisaran area for clues as the manhunt for the terrorist continues.
