Dinesh Karthik has been a part of the Indian cricket team for many years and is now going to showcase his talent and passion for cricket in this foreign league. After playing in South Africa's SA20 League last year, Karthik will now play in the International T20 League (ILT20) for the Sharjah Warriors.

Karthik joins the Warriors as a replacement for Sri Lankan wicketkeeper-batsman Kusal Mendis. The team is coached by former South African cricketer JP Duminy, who is excited about adding Karthik's experience to the team.

Previous overseas league experience:

Karthik has previously played for the Paarl Royals in South Africa's SA20 League, where he scored 97 runs in six innings.

In addition to playing, he is also the batting coach of IPL 2025 champions Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), where he worked closely with Australian player Tim David, who is now part of the Sharjah Warriors.
