A horrific incident of domestic violence has come to light in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, that will leave you shaken. A husband, under the influence of alcohol, subjected his wife to unimaginable cruelty before killing her in a gruesome manner late on Monday night in the Chaubepur police station area.

The Brutal Crime

The accused, who was reportedly drunk at the time, first attacked his wife by crushing her head with a brick. After the initial assault, he attempted to slit her throat with a knife. When the woman fell unconscious, the husband, believing she would survive, decided to throw her from the roof of their house, ensuring she would not live. The police found the blood-soaked body of the woman outside their house upon arrival at the scene.

Police Response

Upon receiving information, local police, led by ADCP Vijayendra Dwivedi, rushed to the spot. They collected evidence with the help of a forensic team and sent the body for a post-mortem. The police also arrested the accused and began interrogating him.
