Sawan 2026: If you are bored with sago, then make makhana and rajgira cutlets for fasting today

The month of Sawan is going on and today is the third Monday. Though this entire month is dedicated to Mahadev, but special prayers are offered to him on Monday. On this day, devotees perform Jalabhishek of Shivling in Shiva temples. Along with this, many devotees also keep fast on Monday of Sawan. Makhana and Rajgira Cutlet
During the fast, you can prepare crispy and nutritious cutlets with the help of Makhana and Rajgira. 

Ingredients:
1 cup makhana,
half cup rajgira flour
, 1 boiled potato,
1 green chilli finely chopped,
rock salt to taste,
half teaspoon cumin seeds,
some green coriander 

Desi ghee for baking or frying

How to make Makhana and Rajgira Cutlets:
First, lightly roast the Makhanas and grind them coarsely. Now, combine the ground Makhanas, Rajgira flour, boiled potatoes, green chilies, rock salt, and cumin seeds in a bowl and mix well. Add a little water as needed to prepare the mixture. Now, form small balls from the cutlets and fry them in hot ghee until golden brown and crispy on both sides. You can eat them with yogurt or green chutney during fasting.
