As tensions between India and Pakistan continue to escalate following a series of cross-border attacks, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has come out in strong support of Operation Sindoor, praising the Indian armed forces for their decisive and courageous action against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.
“Operation Sindoor Boosted National Courage” – RSS
In an official statement issued on Friday, the RSS said:
“Operation Sindoor has not only avenged the cowardly terrorist attack in Pahalgam but also boosted the self-respect and courage of the entire nation. We extend heartfelt congratulations to the leadership of the Government of India and the armed forces for this bold step.”
Operation Sindoor was launched in response to the 22 April terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which claimed the lives of Hindu pilgrims. India retaliated by destroying nine terrorist hideouts on Pakistani soil during overnight operations on 6–7 May, sending a strong message that terrorism will not go unanswered.
“Military Action Necessary and Inevitable”
The RSS called the military action against terrorists, their infrastructure, and support systems within Pakistan both “necessary” and “inevitable” to safeguard national security.
“This action is essential for the safety of our country and justice for the victims. The entire nation stands firmly with the government and the armed forces — with body, mind, and resources.”
Condemnation of Pakistani Aggression
The RSS also condemned Pakistan’s recent attacks on religious places and civilian settlements near the Indian border, which followed India’s offensive. The statement expressed condolences to families of the victims and urged national vigilance.
“We strongly condemn the actions of the Pakistani army and express heartfelt grief for those affected. These attacks once again reveal Pakistan’s disregard for civilian lives and international norms.”
Call for Unity and Civic Responsibility
In light of the current conflict, the RSS has appealed to the citizens of India to act with discipline and unity, urging them to comply with official advisories and stand firm against any divisive or anti-national conspiracies.
“We appeal to all Indians to maintain social harmony, remain alert, and support the armed forces and administration however needed. Let us display our patriotism and ensure that no internal forces disturb our national unity.”
India’s Retaliatory Strike: Breaking Pakistan’s Offensive
Following Pakistan’s attempted drone and missile attacks on 15 Indian locations, India swiftly shot down over 50 incoming threats and launched counter-strikes on eight Pakistani cities, dealing a significant blow to their offensive capability.
Operation Sindoor and India’s subsequent response have now been framed by national organizations like the RSS as a moment of moral and strategic clarity, rallying the country around the armed forces and affirming a zero-tolerance stance against cross-border terrorism.
