Rich List of India 2025: 358 billionaires in the country, Shah Rukh Khan is also included in the list of the rich.

Rich List of India 2025: M3M Hurun India on Wednesday released its Rich List of India's richest personalities for 2025. Zepto co-founder Kaivalya Vohra is the youngest person to make the list.

 

M3M Hurun India on Wednesday (October 1, 2025) released its 2025 Rich List of India's richest individuals. The list highlights the success of the country's top billionaires and emerging entrepreneurs. This year, the number of billionaires in India has risen to 358, setting an all-time record.

Mukesh Ambani, 68, and his family, with a net worth of ₹9.55 lakh crore ($105 billion), have reclaimed the top spot on the India Rich List 2025. Gautam Adani, 63, and his family are second with a net worth of ₹8.15 lakh crore.

Roshni Nadar Malhotra creates history

This time, Roshni Nadar Malhotra (44 years) has made it to the top-3 for the first time. With a net worth of ₹2.84 lakh crore, she became India's richest woman and also the youngest member of the top-10. Chennai's Arvind Srinivas (31 years), founder of AI startup Perplexity, became the youngest billionaire with a net worth of ₹21,190 crore. Neeraj Bajaj (70 years) and his family increased their wealth by 43 percent to ₹2.33 lakh crore and reached the sixth position in the list.

Shah Rukh Khan enters the billionaires list for the first time

Bollywood's Badshah Shah Rukh Khan (59 years) has entered the billionaires list for the first time. His wealth is estimated at Rs 12,490 crore. Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma (46 years) has become a billionaire again. Kaivalya Vohra (22 years) co-founder of Zepto ($5.9 billion) is the youngest company to make it to the list and his partner Adit Palicha is the second youngest billionaire to make it to the list.

Mumbai has the highest number of people on the list with 451.

This time 1,687 individuals have been included, whose wealth is more than Rs 1,000 crore. There are 284 new names in this list. On an average, people on the list have gained wealth of Rs 1,991 crore every day. Mumbai has the highest number of people on the list with 451, followed by Delhi (223) and Bengaluru (116). 101 women are also included in this list, of which 26 are dollar billionaires. 66 percent of the people on the list are self-made.

These sectors have made significant contributions

. The total wealth of India's wealthy has reached ₹167 lakh crore. Sectors such as technology, infrastructure, automobiles, jewelry, and real estate have made significant contributions. India now has 358 dollar billionaires, holding wealth equivalent to nearly half of GDP. 

Overall, the M3M Hurun India Rich List 2025 shows that India is rapidly creating wealth globally, not only in traditional industries but also in startups, technology, and biotech. The number of Indian rich people is writing the story of a new India on the global canvas.
