**Key Highlights of CTET 2026**
The CTET examination was conducted across the country on February 7 and 8, 2026.
More than 2.5 million (25 lakh) candidates appeared for the examination.

**Minimum Qualifying Marks**
To qualify in CTET, candidates must secure a minimum of 60% marks.
Candidates belonging to the SC/ST, OBC, and *Divyang* (differently-abled) categories are granted a relaxation of 5%.
**Eligibility After Qualifying CTET**
Candidates who pass Paper 1: Eligible to teach classes 1 to 5.
Candidates who pass Paper 2: Eligible to teach classes 6 to 8.
