Big decision of Rajasthan Royals

Rajasthan Royals Home Ground IPL 2026: The Rajasthan Royals have made a major decision regarding the 2026 season of the Indian Premier League. A media report has revealed that the Rajasthan Royals have agreed to play four of their home matches in Jaipur for IPL 2026, while the remaining three will be held in Guwahati. There have been disagreements between the RR franchise and the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) regarding the home ground.

A report in the Times of India cited sources as saying that Rajasthan Royals team chairman, Ranjit Barthakur, met with Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. It is reported that the meeting agreed that the Rajasthan Royals would play some of their home matches in Jaipur.

For the past few years, the Rajasthan Royals have played two of their home matches per season in Guwahati and the remaining five in Jaipur. Under the new agreement, RR will play one fewer match at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium (Jaipur) than in previous seasons. Meanwhile, the number of Rajasthan Royals matches at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati will increase from two to three.

It's worth noting that just a few days ago, Rajasthan Royals appointed Riyan Parag as their new captain. Former captain Sanju Samson has moved to Chennai Super Kings via a trade deal. Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran also joined Rajasthan Royals as part of the same trade deal.
