A deeply disturbing case has emerged from Pimpri-Chinchwad in Pune, Maharashtra, where a woman has filed a complaint accusing her husband of sexual assault and performing a bizarre ritual involving lemon, turmeric, and kumkum on her private parts. The incident, now gaining attention online, has shocked many and sparked strong reactions on social media.

Allegations of Forced Intimacy and Threats

According to reports, the couple had been married since 2004 but had frequent disputes, particularly related to the woman's character. In 2023, she separated from her husband and began living with her children. She later filed for alimony in 2024.

The incident reportedly took place on June 1, 2024, when the woman went to her husband's flat to collect her belongings. She claims her husband locked the door, held her at knifepoint, and forced himself on her. Following the assault, he allegedly used a lemon coated in turmeric and kumkum on her private parts, saying he had "cast a spell" and she would lose her mind.

He then allegedly threatened her not to disclose the incident to anyone, or he would kill her.

Police Investigation Underway

The case has been registered at Sangvi Police Station, and an investigation is ongoing. The accused is currently absconding, and police efforts are underway to locate and apprehend him.
