Samsung Galaxy A36 5G and A56 5G prices hiked
If you are planning to buy a Samsung smartphone, then now you will have to keep a little more budget than before. The company has increased the prices of its two popular 5G smartphones Galaxy A36 5G and Galaxy A56 5G in India. All the variants of these two models will now be more expensive than before. Among these, the price of Galaxy A36 5G has increased the most by Rs 3,000, while for Galaxy A56 5G, customers will have to pay Rs 2,000 extra. The new prices have come into effect from September 24, and the prices have been updated on Amazon along with Samsung India.
How much did the Galaxy A36 5G cost?
All variants of the Galaxy A36 5G have received a price increase of ₹3,000. The 8GB+128GB model now costs ₹36,999, down from ₹33,999. The 8GB+256GB variant's price has increased from ₹37,999 to ₹40,999. The 12GB+256GB model will now be available for ₹46,499, down from ₹43,499.
Galaxy A56 5G new price
The Galaxy A56 5G's 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model is now priced at ₹44,999, down from ₹42,999. The 8GB+256GB variant will now be available for ₹48,999, down from ₹46,999. The 12GB+256GB model's price has increased from ₹52,999 to ₹54,499.

Both the Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G feature a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED display. The screens come with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Victus+ protection. Both smartphones support AI features like Auto Trim, Best Face, AI Select, and Read Aloud.
For performance, the Galaxy A56 5G is powered by the Exynos 1580 chipset, while the Galaxy A36 5G comes with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. Both phones come with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. They run on One UI 7 based on Android 15 and will receive six OS upgrades and six years of security updates.

The Galaxy A56 5G features a 50MP OIS main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP macro camera. The Galaxy A36 5G also features a 50MP OIS primary camera and a 5MP macro camera, but its ultra-wide camera is 8MP. Both phones have a 12MP front camera. Both models pack a 5,000mAh battery and support 45W wired fast charging. They also have an IP67 rating, 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Both phones are 7.4mm thick and feature stereo speakers.
