In a powerful address to the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the success of Operation Sindoor, which avenged the deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The operation, he stated, delivered a blow to Pakistan and terrorists that they would "hardly ever forget."
Terrorism Cannot Be Tolerated: A Clear Message to Pakistan
Prime Minister Modi commended the bravery of the Indian Armed Forces, describing their actions as nothing short of heroic. He made it clear that terrorism will not be tolerated under any circumstances, sending a direct message to Pakistan.
The PM detailed how the operation swiftly destroyed several key terrorist hideouts, including Bahawalpur and Muridke, which he referred to as "global universities of terror". These locations, he pointed out, were linked to some of the world’s most devastating attacks, including the 9/11 attacks, the London Tube bombings, and numerous attacks on Indian soil.
A Pledge for Justice: The Vindication of Operation Sindoor
PM Modi shared that India’s action was directly linked to the destruction of these terror hubs in one swift stroke. He emphasized that these terrorist hideouts had caused immense suffering, and the Indian retaliation was a clear message: "If our sisters' vermilion can be erased, so can these terror bases."
More than 100 terrorists were killed in just hours during the attack, with the Indian Armed Forces using precision drones and missiles to eliminate the threat. According to Modi, the destruction was so intense that Pakistan could not have imagined such a swift and powerful response.
Pahalgam Attack: A Nation United in Grief and Revenge
The Prime Minister also reflected on the Pahalgam attack, which had left the country in shock. He said the attack didn’t just evoke grief; it sparked a nationwide wave of revenge, uniting all political factions in a single voice against terrorism. This collective sentiment, Modi stated, was the driving force behind Operation Sindoor.
The Unbroken Pledge of Justice
The Prime Minister concluded by reaffirming that Operation Sindoor was not just a military action; it was an unbroken pledge of justice for those lost in the Pahalgam attack. He declared that India would continue to stand firm in its resolve against terrorism, ensuring that no act of terror would go unanswered.
