Pakistani Spy Caught: Delhi Police has arrested a spy who spent 90 days in Pakistan. He was spying on the instructions of ISI. He was trained in spying. He used to collect information and send it to ISI. The spy was identified as Qasim and the police is searching for his brother.

 

Pakistani Spy Caught: The Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested a 34-year-old man from Bharatpur in Rajasthan. He is accused of espionage. The espionage was allegedly done on the instructions of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). According to officials familiar with the matter, the accused has been identified as a Muslim cleric named Mohammad Qasim, who was allegedly in touch with his handles in Pakistan through encrypted messaging apps and social media platforms.

 

 

Qasim's arrest came during Operation Sindoor, a covert operation launched by India in Pakistan on May 7 in retaliation to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam in which 26 tourists were killed.

Police officials said that Delhi Police has arrested a person from Rajasthan for allegedly assisting ISI by supplying Indian mobile SIM cards for espionage activities. They said that the accused has been identified as Qasim. He went to Pakistan twice (first in August 2024 and then in March 2025) and stayed there for about 90 days.

According to two investigators familiar with the case, Qasim was trained in espionage, which included collecting sensitive information and sharing it safely with ISI handlers. Qasim's brother is still absconding. He is suspected of working for the ISI.

Pakistani spy is in police remand

A senior police officer said that during his visits, Qasim is suspected to have met officials of Pakistan's spy agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). The officer said that Qasim, a resident of Gangora village in Deeg district, was arrested on May 29 and is currently on police remand.
