The record for the biggest win in an Under-19 World Cup is held by Australia, who defeated Kenya by 430 runs in 2002. With this impressive victory, South Africa secured second place in the Group D table.

Pakistan also opened its account of victory.

Pakistan lost their first match of the Under-19 World Cup 2026 to England by 37 runs. However, they defeated Scotland by 7 wickets in the second match to open their World Cup-winning account. Batting first, Scotland were all out for 187 runs. In reply, Pakistan took 43 overs to achieve the target of 188 runs. At one point, it seemed that if Scotland had scored 30-40 more runs in their innings, Pakistan might have lost. This victory has helped Pakistan secure second place in the Group C points table.
