According to the Times of India report, after marriage, Lieutenant Vinay Narwal and his wife had first planned to travel to Europe, but could not go due to not getting a visa. After this, they decided to travel to Jammu and Kashmir for their honeymoon.

After the wedding ceremony on April 16, he went to Kashmir on April 21 to celebrate his honeymoon with his wife. Currently, he was posted in Kochi. The gunman said that my husband is not a Muslim and then shot him." 26 people died in the firing

On the afternoon of 22 April, 26 people were killed in indiscriminate firing by terrorists in a famous grassland near the town of Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir.
