PM Narendra Modi Donald Trump: The Prime Minister talked to Trump about Operation Sindoor. During the 35-minute conversation, he told Trump that India will not resort to any trade deal.

PM Narendra Modi Donald Trump: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump had a phone call. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said that the PM talked to Trump about Operation Sindoor and the issue of Pakistan. Modi said that Operation Sindoor is still going on. He was supposed to meet the US President during the G-7 summit in Canada, but Trump left earlier. That is why the two had a phone call.
During the conversation, Modi urged Trump to visit India and President Trump said that he is eager to visit India. PM Modi and President Trump talked for about 35 minutes. After the Pahalgam terrorist attack on April 22, President Trump had expressed condolences to Prime Minister Modi over the phone and expressed support against terrorism. This was the first conversation between the two leaders after that. Therefore, Operation Sindoor was discussed in detail.
Ceasefire did not happen between India and Pakistan because of trade deal
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said, "Prime Minister Modi clearly told President Trump that during this entire incident, at no time, at any level, were issues like India-US trade deal or mediation by the US between India and Pakistan discussed. The halt to military action was discussed directly between India and Pakistan, through existing channels of both the armies and was done at the request of Pakistan itself."
Trump supports India against terrorism
Prime Minister Modi stressed that India has never accepted mediation, does not and will never accept it. There is complete political consensus in India on this issue. President Trump understood the points made by the Prime Minister in detail and expressed support for India's fight against terrorism.
India will answer bullets with shells: PM Modi
Modi clearly told Trump that after April 22, India had told the whole world about its determination to take action against terrorism. He said that on the night of May 6-7, India had targeted only terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. India had also made it clear that India would respond to Pakistan's bullets with shells.
JD Vance had called PM Modi
US Vice President JD Vance had called Prime Minister Modi on the night of 9 May. Vance had said that Pakistan could launch a major attack on India. Modi had told him in clear words that if this happens, India will give an even bigger reply to Pakistan. India gave a very strong response to Pakistan's attack on the night of 9-10 May, and caused a lot of damage to the Pakistani army.
