Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with the Seva Yatra travelers of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. He stated on Thursday (September 24) that service should be our primary focus, and that we must spread the message of service while serving, not preach. During the meeting, PM Modi also addressed other issues. He delivered a special message to the Seva Yatra travelers from Gujarat and other states. He stated that no matter how high we reach, we will never back down from our spirit of service.

Prime Minister Modi said, 'It is said here that when someone returns from a journey and you greet him, then half the virtue of the journey goes to the person who greets the travellers, so today I am also stealing half your virtue by greeting all the Seva Yatris.'

Never deviate from the path of service: PM Modi.

PM Modi said, "I appeal to everyone to take care of themselves. Service should be our primary purpose. We should spread the message of service not just by preaching, but by serving ourselves. We will spread the message of service through our actions, not just words. Our behavior should show people that no matter how much political power we gain, our path will remain one of service. We will never deviate from this path of service. No matter how high we reach, we will always move forward following the principle of 'Seva Parmo Dharma' (Service is the greatest religion)."

What did the PM say on tree plantation?

Referring to tree planting, PM Modi said, "I have a simple method. When planting a tree, we should place an earthen pot filled with water near it, with its mouth facing upwards. This pot should be filled with water once a month so that the tree can grow well. This will save water and help us grow more trees."
