Nepal Gen-z Protest: Nepalese expressed their pain over the deteriorating situation in Nepal,

People in Nepal are frustrated with unemployment, political instability and lack of development. The situation is so bad that citizens are expressing hope for a better future by comparing it with India.

The GEN-Z protests in India's neighboring country Nepal, have had a very bad effect on the country. Meanwhile, a large number of returning Nepali citizens reacted to the current situation at the Rupaidiha border of the India-Nepal border. During this, Khem Bahadur, a resident of Palpa, expressed his views. He said that the condition of Nepal has become so bad that people have now started thinking that if the British had enslaved Nepal along with India, then perhaps the country would have been far ahead today. According to him, at least there would have been trains, roads and employment facilities.

In a statement to a private channel, Khem Bahadur said that after the advent of democracy, people had great expectations. The public was thinking that now the country will develop, but the leaders developed themselves instead of the public. Means of employment are almost negligible, and the common people have been left to fend for themselves. He believes that if the leadership of Nepal had been honest and farsighted, the situation would not have been so bad.

View on Gen-Z movement

The recent Gen-zmovement in Nepal brought about a big change in both politics and society. Khem Bahadur believes that this movement was necessary because the public's anger had become very deep, but he condemned the arson and vandalism of government buildings during the movement. He says that the reconstruction of these buildings will be done from the public's pocket, i.e. from taxes, so this kind of violence is not right.

Why is it compared to India?

Many citizens of Nepal compare it with India. The reason for this is that during the British rule, railway, road and administrative infrastructure was developed in India. Today the same infrastructure is taking India forward in the direction of economic and technological development. No such infrastructure could be built in Nepal and political instability has worsened the situation.

Hope for the future

Many citizens like Khem Bahadur believe that whatever government is formed after the movement, it will have to focus on the welfare of the people. Basic facilities like employment, roads, education and health will have to be given priority. If the leadership still does not learn a lesson, then the country can go into a deeper crisis.
