India is preparing for mock drill in four states near the Pakistan border. In this drill to be conducted in Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Punjab, people will be trained to deal with emergency situations. Before the last drill, Operation Sindoor was conducted in which India targeted the hideouts of terrorists.

Preparations for mock drill have started once again in the country. Mock drill will be conducted in four states bordering Pakistan, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab. During this, people will be alerted. Last time, Operation Sindoor was conducted just before the mock drill.

The biggest reason for conducting mock drill again in these four states is to make people fully prepared that if there is any attack from Pakistan in future, then how should the common citizen protect himself.

There is a border of about 3300 kilometers between India and Pakistan. Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat, these four states share Pakistan's border.

What is a mock drill?

Mock drill is a kind of "practice" in which people are given information about dealing with emergency situations. People are told how to save themselves if there is an air strike or bomb attack.

Let us tell you that after the Pahalgam attack on April 22, India took action under 'Operation Sindoor' and targeted 9 locations in Pakistan and occupied Kashmir. More than 100 terrorists were wiped out in these attacks.
