TRAI Cheaper Recharge Plans: Now this new plan will be of most benefit to those users who want to use plans without data or use feature phones.

(Recharge plans without data will become cheaper)
TRAI Cheaper Recharge Plans: Smartphones are now available to almost everyone these days. However, expensive recharge plans have caused significant distress. In response, TRAI has developed a new plan that will provide affordable plans. It's worth noting that previously, people had to pay more even for non-data plans, but that will no longer be the case. Let's find out what TRAI's new plan is.
This is TRAI's new plan.
For your information, currently, call and SMS plans come with limited validity. If the new rule is implemented, companies that offer data plans with 7, 28, 56, and 84-day validity will be required to launch voice-only and SMS-only plans with the same validity. This will allow users to choose a plan based on their needs and avoid paying extra for unnecessary data.
Plans without data will be cheaper.
According to media reports, TRAI says that users who don't need mobile data should have the option to choose separate plans for calling and SMS only. It's worth noting that currently, people are forced to buy plans that provide data but aren't necessarily needed. In light of this, TRAI has proposed that telecom companies offer voice-only and SMS-only plans with the same validity as data plans.
These users will benefit.
This new plan will most benefit users who prefer data-free plans or those who use feature phones. Furthermore, these plans will also prove beneficial for users who want to keep a second SIM active. Therefore, if TRAI's new plan is implemented, users who prefer data-free plans will benefit significantly.
How cheap will the plans be?
According to TRAI, the prices of non-data plans could be reduced by more than 50 percent. It's worth noting that most of the existing plans are priced for data. Now that data is no longer available, the prices will be significantly lower than before.
