LPG Price Today: Gas cylinder price today
Whether it's buying household groceries, paying children's fees, or paying electricity and water bills, every family calculates their expenses at the beginning of the month. Cooking gas is a significant part of this budget. Therefore, before booking a cylinder, it's important to know the current price of domestic LPG in your city and the changes in the price of commercial cylinders.
There was no change in the price of domestic gas cylinders on Monday, October 19, 2026. This means that a 14.2 kg cylinder is still available in Delhi for ₹942. However, those using commercial cylinders faced a price hike in early October.
How much money will have to be deposited for one cylinder?
If you're about to run out of gas at home, check the rates in your city before booking. Domestic cylinder prices vary from city to city. For example, a domestic gas cylinder in Patna is about 90 rupees more expensive than in Delhi.

- Mumbai – 2,764.50
- Kolkata – 2,954

Why should you check the price every month?
Oil companies typically review LPG prices on the first of every month. Domestic and commercial cylinder prices are set separately. Therefore, it's not necessarily true that a rise in the price of a commercial cylinder will also result in an increase in the price of a domestic cylinder.
Prices are influenced by factors such as the cost of LPG in the international market, the rupee-dollar exchange rate, transportation, and local tariffs. Changes in prices can impact household spending and business budgets.
