Many types of schemes are being run by the state government and the central government. One of these schemes is the 'Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana-Chief Minister Scheme'. Under this scheme, Ayushman cards of eligible people are made, after which the cardholder can get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh in empaneled hospitals. At the same time, many people probably do not know that Ayushman card is made online or one has to go to the office for this. Method to check eligibility:-
Step 1
If you also want to get an Ayushman card, then check the eligibility first.
For this, you have to go to the official portal of the scheme https://pmjay.gov.in/
Click on the option of 'Am I Eligible' seen here and enter the OTP received on the mobile number
Step 2
After this two options will come up, in the first select your state, and in the second search by entering your mobile number and ration card number
Then you will see that you will know your eligibility whether you are eligible or ineligible for the scheme.
Method of making Ayushman card: -
Step 1
Now if you are eligible, then you have to go to your nearest public service center to get an Ayushman card because this process is offline.
At the center, you have to carry documents like an Aadhaar card, residence proof, ration card, and a mobile number with you
Step 2
Then give the documents to the concerned officer at the center
This is followed by verification of your documents and eligibility
When everything is found correct, then within 10 to 15 days you are issued an Ayushman card, after which you can get your free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh.
