PC: Sinus & Snoring Specialists
When you breathe during sleep, the tissues of your tongue, palate, and airway relax, causing you to experience snoring. These tissues compress your airways and cause them to vibrate as a result. Often you do not get relief from snoring even with many measures. But yoga can be effective in your snoring problem.
Yoga practice improves blood flow to your lungs, throat, and nasal passages. It strengthens your lungs and nasal passages and gradually reduces snoring. So to get rid of the problem of snoring, you can do the following 4 yoga asanas.
Kapalbhati Pranayama:
First of all, sit in Vajrasana and do chitta mudra with both hands. Now take a deep breath and then while exhaling with a jerk, pull the stomach in. If you are starting Kapalbhati Pranayama then do it 35 times and keep increasing this number every day.
Bhramari Pranayama:
Close your eyes by sitting in a cool and airy place, now apply the side finger of the thumb of both the hands on the ear. Chant Om while exhaling. Repeat this process 5-7 times.
