This year the temperature has increased very rapidly. The mercury crossed 50 degrees Celsius in many cities of India. This is an extremely serious situation. A major reason for this situation is environmental pollution or exploitation of nature.
Pollution has a negative impact on nature and can lead to global warming. For this reason, many scientists consider the 21st century to be the century of destruction due to the damage to the environment. The biggest enemy of the environment is currently man. Humans are harming the environment by making many mistakes every day. Environmental protection can be done by controlling the factors or mistakes that pollute the environment.
Teach children about environmental protection to create a livable environment for the coming generation. You can tell them ways to protect them from environmental protection. Here are the ways that can inculcate the habit of environmental protection in children.
Disadvantages of plastic and polythene
Plastic bottles or other items are very harmful to nature. Apart from this, the use of polythene is also fatal to the environment. Both of these are used in large quantities, which is the main cause of soil pollution. Prevent children from using plastic and polythene.
Control over AC
The use of AC increases in summer to get cool. AC gives cool air but it pollutes the environment. Teach children about the side effects of using AC. Also, reduce the use of AC yourself so that you can contribute to reducing pollution.
Hygiene habits
Children develop the habit of keeping cleanliness around them. Teach them the difference between dry and wet garbage. Tell them that to keep the environment clean, nothing should be thrown anywhere on the way. Teach them to use dustbins. Give tips to keep the surroundings of the house, parks etc. clean so that they do not pollute the environment further.
Plantation
Plants are like Sanjeevani for the environment. Trees and plants give clean air which is essential for life. Tell children the importance of trees and plants and encourage them to plant trees. Get the children to plant a sapling in one or two pots at home and give them the responsibility of that sapling so that they can nurture it till it grows and feel joy in doing this work.
