AGEs are responsible for this greed

Advanced Glycation End Products are found in our body, which we also know as AGEs. It is formed in our body due to the reaction of sugar with proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids. AGEs are also formed unnaturally when food is fried or grilled. Sugar and protein react due to the heat present in the food item. Due to this, the color of the food becomes brown and the smell also becomes tasty, and it becomes difficult for us to ignore that food.

In this study, to find out what effect AGEs have on our health, insects were fed food items in which AGEs were present. When insects were fed this food, it was found that eating food containing AGEs increased their desire to eat such food. In this study, it was found that due to this chemical, we feel like eating tasty food outside. It is also being speculated that this could be the reason behind our overeating but more research is needed on this.

How does age affect health?


In this study, it was also found that food that already contains AGEs has a very negative impact on our health. Eating highly processed foods causes the accumulation of AGEs in our bodies. Due to this, the risk of many serious diseases like inflammation, hypertension i.e. BP, kidney diseases, cancer, neurological diseases, stiffness in the nerves, etc. increases significantly. As we age, our ability to eliminate AGEs from our bodies also decreases. Because of this, they start accumulating in our body and our organs start getting damaged.

From this study, it can be understood that unknowingly we get attracted to unhealthy food items, which has a very bad effect on our body. Therefore, it is very important to take special care of your diet. To avoid this, we should try not to eat grilled or fried food or eat very little of it.
