Amarnath Yatra 2023: Registrations for Amarnath Yatra are starting today. The registrations will start offline and online mode. This time registration for Amarnath Yatra can be done in a total of 31 banks. Registration will be done in any branch of Punjab National Bank. Many documents have been made mandatory for medical and registration without which the journey would not be possible.
Documents required for Amarnath Yatra
Pilgrims will have to bring a passport-size photo, and photocopy of ID proof with them. Along with this, the date and route of the journey will also have to be mentioned.

The cost of advance registration through designated bank branches is Rs 120 per person.
The cost of online registration is Rs 220 per person.
The cost of group registration is Rs.220 per person.

What is the old and new route of the Amarnath Yatra?
The route of the Amarnath Yatra keeps on changing with time. With the construction of roads in this area, the travel route has also changed. Now there are two routes for Amarnath Yatra. One route starts from Pahalgam, which is about 46-48 km long. It takes 5 days to travel by this route. On the other hand, the second route starts from Baltal, from where the distance of the cave is 14-16 kilometers, but due to the steep climb, everyone can't go through it.
