Eating peas in the winter season has its fun. But often the mind gets bored by eating the same type of vegetable. In such a situation, we will tell you the easy method of making Matar Ka Nimona, after eating which you will be licking your fingers.

Ingredients:

  • a cup of green peas
  • a boiled potato
  • 1 cup tomatoes
  • green coriander
  • three finely chopped green chilies
  • half teaspoon ginger paste
  • half teaspoon cumin
  • a pinch of asafoetida
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • half teaspoon turmeric
  • half a teaspoon of red chili
  • teaspoon garam masala
  • salt to taste
  • two tablespoons of mustard oil

process :

  • First of all, grind the green peas with the help of a mixer and take them out in a vessel and keep it aside.
  • Now cut the boiled potatoes into small thin pieces.
  • After this, heat oil in a pan on the gas and add potatoes to it, and fry till it becomes light golden.
  • Now take out the potatoes on a plate and fry them after adding cumin and asafoetida in the same oil.
  • After this add coriander powder, turmeric, tomato, finely chopped green chilies, and ginger paste and fry it well.
  • Now add ground peas and cook for a few minutes, then add a cup of water and add fried potatoes.
  • After this add red chili powder, garam masala, and salt and cook it well.

Now garnish it with green coriander and serve it with roti or rice.
