Ingredients for making sesame-jaggery laddus
Jaggery – 1 cup
Sesame (white) – 2 cups
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
Coconut – 2 tbsp (grated)
Fry sesame seeds
To make laddus, first put sesame seeds in a pan and fry them till golden on medium flame. This will happen in about 5-7 minutes. After roasting sesame seeds, keep them in a separate vessel.
Melt the jaggery
After this, mix jaggery with ghee in the same pan on medium flame. Let the jaggery melt slightly. Keep stirring it continuously, otherwise it will settle down.
Mix all ingredients
When the jaggery melts, let it cool slightly, and then add sesame seeds, cardamom powder, and grated coconut to it. Finally, mix it well.
Now make laddus
After mixing everything properly, make small balls from this mixture and shape them into laddus with your hands. Now your laddus are ready, you can store them.
