There is news of a major bug in Meta-owned WhatsApp. There is a big bug in WhatsApp due to which people's accounts are getting logged out automatically. Many users have complained about this on social media.
We have also experienced this bug. WhatsApp accounts are being automatically logged out from phones and desktops. The most surprising thing is that after logging out, a 6-digit OTP is not even required to log in again, although it is mandatory.
WhatsApp accounts cannot be logged in without the code and if this is happening then it is a threat to the security of the users' account. After logging out, the security codes of the users are also changing. This problem is being faced by all three users of Android, iOS, and the web.
WhatsApp has not yet given any official statement regarding this bug, but according to the information given on its support page, if WhatsApp feels that there is a security issue then it can automatically log out of the account, although this work is not done by WhatsApp. Works only with the linked device, not the primary device. In such a situation, it is currently being considered a bug. It is also being said that this is part of the beta testing that WhatsApp is doing. Actually, the logout feature is going to come in WhatsApp like Telegram.
Do this to secure your account
Currently, there is no way to solve the problem of automatic logout, but you can do some work to ensure the security of your account. You should turn on two-factor authentication on your WhatsApp. The advantage of this will be that without the code your account cannot be logged in.
How to turn on two-factor authentication in WhatsApp
Go to WhatsApp settings.
Now click on the account option.
Now you will see the option of two-step verification.
Click on it and turn it on.
Here you will be asked for a 6-digit PIN.
This PIN will be used again and again for login, so remember it.
