There is also another option
Another option is Backup. Back up your WhatsApp regularly and restore messages from earlier backups. For this go to WhatsApp Settings and go to Chat. Chat backup will appear there. Look for an older backup that contains the deleted messages.

- Go to your phone's settings.
- Then tap on Apps & Notifications.
- Select the notification option.
- 'Notification History' will appear inside the option, click there.
- Next use notification history.
- As soon as the notification history is turned on, you will be able to see the deleted messages.
