WhatsApp Update: A new feature is coming soon on WhatsApp which will allow users to edit captions of photos, videos, GIFs, and documents. According to the report, testing of this feature is currently being done with limited users, but it is expected to be offered to everyone in the coming weeks. It has been learned that this feature will be made available for both iOS and Android users.

This feature came after the facility of changing text messages was introduced in WhatsApp chat. After sending the message to the users, it can be edited and changed for 15 minutes.

In the latest update, to edit a photo caption, WhatsApp users just need to long-press on the message and select 'Edit' from the menu. You can then edit the caption and tap on 'Send' to save your changed text.

The editing facility is limited to 15 minutes after the message is sent. This is to prevent users from changing the captions of old messages to mislead or deceive others.

The introduction of the photo caption edit feature will help in correcting typing mistakes or making minor changes in the caption. This will also be useful for adding additional details, such as links or locations, to the caption.

Photo related feature has also come
Apart from this, recently WhatsApp has added a new feature related to photos. With the help of this feature, users will be able to share photos in HD quality. Like messages, audio, and all the information shared on WhatsApp, HD photos are also end-to-end encrypted.
