Similarly, there are some documents in which they have to change their surname and address. Number 1
The first document in which girls have to get changes is the Voter ID card. In this, you have to change your address and surname. If you do not do this, then girls have to vote at their maternal address only and they are not able to vote at their in-laws' place.
Number 2
In today's time, the Aadhar card is a very important document. Therefore, after marriage, girls should get timely changes in their surname and address on their Aadhar card. Otherwise, many of your tasks may get stuck or you may face difficulty in getting many things done.
Number 3
Girls also have to update their PAN cards after marriage. This is because if you work and pay income tax, then you will also have to file an income tax return. In such a situation, in case of a change of surname after marriage, you will have to file an ITR along with the new PAN, and for this, your PAN must be updated.
Number 4
If you have a passport, then after marriage you have to make changes in your passport also. In this your surname and address change. To get it updated, you can contact the passport center.
