The objective of this scheme is to help every poor to build a house. The benefits of this scheme, which was started in the year 2015, are being extended to the people and this scheme is one of the important schemes being run by the Central Government. On the other hand, many people have many problems or complaints regarding the plan. But they do not know where they can contact to get the solution to their problem. If you are also associated with Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and you have any complaint regarding this scheme, then you can do this and arrangements have been made for this. You can complain at your Gram Panchayat, Block, District, and State level. From here you are given the solution to the problem.
If you complain at these levels, you get a proper solution from here. At every level, there is a provision for disposal of the complaint within 45 days from the date of receipt of the complaint.

If your complaint is not being heard at the Gram Panchayat, Block, District, and State level or you do not get a proper solution from here or you need more information. So in such a situation you can contact your local housing assistant or block development officer.
Who can take benefit?
Economically weaker section people
Whose annual family income is up to Rs 3 lakh
People from low-income groups whose annual family income is between Rs 3 lakh to Rs 6 lakh.
People of the middle-income group whose annual family income is between Rs 6 lakh to Rs 12 lakh.
Women from EWS and LIG categories and people from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes.
